40 Under 40: Hillary Peckham
Uplifting the voices of women in cannabis is an important part of Etain’s presence in the space.
Hillary Peckham’s passion for medical cannabis comes from first-hand experience. After some
serious medical issues that landed her in bed for two long years, she learned the relief one could find
through the power of cannabis.
Etain Health, the company she founded along with her mother and sister, is an ode to their late grandmother who struggled with ALS. Realizing the impact access to medical cannabis could have made on their journey, the family knew pursuing their own license was the right choice.
Peckham says she’s pleased to be a life-changing part of so many of their customers’ lives. A proud supporter of Women Grow and a member of the Floret Coalition, uplifting the voices of women in cannabis is an important part of Etain’s presence in the space.
“Right now, we’re the only women-owned and the only family-owned cannabis company in New York and I’d love to see more opportunities for diversity in this industry,” Peckham said.
