VIDEO: Dr. Sanjay Gupta Reverses Opinion On Cannabis

CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta apologized for “systematically misleading Americans” about medical marijuana on Piers Morgan last night. Gupta, who as recently as 2009 wrote an anti-medical marijuana op-ed for TIME Magazine, has published a piece entitled “Why I Changed My Mind On Weed” in anticipation of the release of his documentary “WEED”, set to air at 8 p.m. ET August 11 on CNN.

As for his statement towards the end pertaining to how cannabis made him personally anxious, perhaps Dr. Gupta didn’t try the right strain.
