It’s no secret that the cannabis industry is growing by leaps and bounds, thanks to huge investments from major companies and blossoming support in the form of social acceptance from unlikely groups like police officers and young Republicans. As more people get familiar with the economic opportunities within the industry, many are looking to join the cannabis workforce as extractors, cultivators, lawyers, designers or even dispensary owners.

This video, courtesy of cannabisjobsboard.com, looks at the state of the of cannabis industry from the lens of the employee-to-be. It highlights the top states offering positions in various cannabis careers and includes many of the commonly considered contenders like California, Colorado and Washington and well as Arizona, Illinois, New York, Nevada and Florida.

There was increase in openings for positions all across the board including sales, medical professionals, budtenders, managers and delivery drivers.
