Crop King Seeds Makes World’s First Cannabis Commercial

Crop King Seeds has released what is being dubbed as the world’s first marijuana commercial. The quick advertisement clocks in just over a minute, but packs in a lot of humor and even takes a few jabs at arbitrary legislation that makes it legal to consume alcohol, but not cannabis.

In the new commercial a man enters a liquor store searching for Purple Kush and hash brownies from the “plant that grows out of the ground.” When the shop employee pushes a purchase that leaves the customer with seemingly no other choice than to support liquor companies and consume dangerous products, the man revolts and breaks a bottle. It is then that the Crop King appears, with a deep belly laugh and well-stocked retail rack featuring an assortment of cannabis seeds.

If the message wasn’t clear before, it is now: Crop King Seeds wants folks to the ditch the bottle and instead opt for something a little more soothing — cannabis.

The Canadian company is no stranger to pushing the boundaries when it comes to expressing their very clear stance on cannabis prohibition. They will discretely ship their world-class seeds to customers over the age of 19 all over the globe in random items including pens, flashlights and birthday cards.

And it’s not just a gimmick. This company has high quality seeds and they also know a thing or two about what they’re selling. Looking for a nice sativa strain? Lisa, the helpful Crop King associate, suggested Azura Haze. The Blueberry and Lemon Haze cross clocks in at 80 percent sativa and is one of many strains offered online as well as in hundreds of stores throughout Canada.
