Cheech’s Private Stash of Cannabis Products Will Always Be Good

Dedicated to his vision of “sharing the love, experience, and understanding of cannabis,” Cheech Marin, one half of iconic comedy duo Cheech & Chong, recently joined the market with his own line of curated cannabis, Cheech’s Private Stash.

A longtime cannabis advocate and global counterculture icon, Cheech knows a thing or two about cannabis. He personally selected the strains in the product range, Sour Diesel, Cookie Glue, Do Si Dos, and Platinum OG, all selections that Cheech himself considers to be “good weed.” It’s also a family affair; daughter Jasmine is the company marketing manager and son Joey-Dee serves as the director of operations.

We caught up with Cheech to find out a little bit more about his Private Stash.

Cannabis Now: Do you have a favorite from the product line?

Cheech: Right now we have flower in the market and will be expanding into edibles and vape very soon. And I have a few surprises coming up — some really cool items from us in the future. I don’t want to get the word out just yet, but here’s what I can say because this is what my tagline is for Cheech’s Private Stash: “It will always be good!”

California was the first state to launch Cheech’s Private Stash and you are now in Nevada and Colorado. Do you have any plans to continue into other legal states? 

Absolutely. We are expanding to Washington state soon and then moving towards the Northeast. I am also really excited about a new collaboration with a Canadian Cannabis Company — all the info on that is coming out any day now.

Any additional news to share that consumers might be interested in?

We have a lot of new things on the horizon. We are just about to release a hemp extract tea and I am working on my very own wellness products.  I am all about anything that helps us to live well and enjoy life.
