C’est si bon! Vanilla Kush Pate Choux Recipe

This dazzling dessert pairs a classic French pastry with the timeless flavor profile and effects of Kush genetics. A simple but elegant recipe that will wow your friends and family with flavorful flair.

Pate Choux is such a versatile dough that can be made into a number of different desserts. This is a classic French Pate Choux recipe that is guaranteed to impress.

Profiteroles are one of my favorite desserts to indulge in and make when it comes to French pastries. This is a great dessert when you want to medicate with some French flair or impress your friends during a dinner party. Making profiteroles also will test your baking skills while opening up great opportunities to practice your plating and decorating techniques.

Vanilla Kush is the birth child of Afghani crossed with Kashmir, which makes this a very powerful Indica. The strain adds an elevated creamy vanilla flavor that will lace your tongue with sweetness.

This is the perfect strain to induce relaxation, tension, sleep, and pain relief, while also providing euphoria. The Vanilla Kush Pate Choux really will really end any dinner on a high note, by blissfully lulling the consumer into a warm bath of relaxation.

Mise en place:
• 4 whole eggs
• 1 large pastry bag filled with heavy whipped cream
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup Vanilla Kush cannabutter infused with 3.5 grams
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Directions:

Step 1: Add water, sugar, salt and butter into a pot and bring to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, pull from the stove and add the flour while quickly stirring until a dough forms.

Step 2: Take this mixture and add it to a stand mixer. Mix with a paddle for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes is up, slowly add one egg in at a time until it forms a smooth paste.

Step 3: Pipe onto a lined baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes then drop the temperature down to 350 degrees F. Bake at this second temperature for another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Do not open the oven or the puff pasties will fall.

Step 4: Cool then cut and fill with the heavy whipping cream and fresh fruit if desired. Decorate as desired and serve. Enjoy!

Dosage:

If the gram of Vanilla Kush tests at 20 percent THC, 20 percent of 1,000mg would be 200 mg. So if you added 3.5 grams worth of Vanilla Kush into the total recipe at 20 percent THC, it would contain 700 mg total. Sub the number of your THC percentage and do the math to figure out your dosing depending on what phenotype you have.

If you want a smaller dose, cut the Vanilla Kush down to a smaller portion or make smaller profiteroles. If you want a higher dose, increase the Vanilla Kush or infuse the whipped cream.

Strain Substitution:

I would recommend strains that possess vanilla, sweet or cream like terpenes and flavonoids. The following would be ideal if you didn’t have Vanilla Kush: Ice Cream, Dairy Queen, Cookies and Cream, or Blue Cream. If you cannot find these strains don’t panic, just follow your nose and taste buds to finds strains that would complement the dish.
