Cura Cannabis Solutions Breaks More Cannabis Industry Records

Cura Cannabis Solutions has been ranked 45 on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, becoming the first cannabis company ever recognized in the top 50.

This year is shaping into a memorable year for Portland-based Cura Cannabis Solutions (Cura). First, the cannabis brand reported $18 million in sales for the first quarter of 2018. NowInc. magazine has revealed that Cura ranks No. 45 on its 37th annual Inc. 5000, becoming the first cannabis company to appear in the top 50.

Best known for its top-selling brands Select Oil and Select CBD, Cura is widely respected in the industry for innovative extraction techniques and its focus on setting high standards for quality products.

Cameron Forni, Cura founder, president and chief executive officer, credits the company’s success to the work of people across the country.

“This achievement would not be possible without the support of our customers, the hard work and dedication of our people, and a company-wide belief in a world where everything is possible,” said Forni in a statement.

According to a press release, the Inc. 5000 list “represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — young emerging growth companies” and has helped other companies like Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow gain national exposure.

“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter said in the release. “The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”

Forni said he believes Cura’s success would not have been possible without the support of the company’s retailers and customers.

“From the first dispensaries in Portland, Oregon to try Select, to our newest customers in California, Nevada and Arizona — we are so appreciative to have worked with more than 1,000 shops that share our values and goals,” Forni said. “We’ve also gotten to know customers all over the country who order our Select CBD products online and that continued national reach is a pivotal achievement for our team. We’re excited to share that we’re just getting started!”

Cura has seen unprecedented success in the cannabis market since its launch in September 2015. It has expanded from a small group of loyal employees to a team of more than 350 across four U.S. states. Cura recently announced plans to expand into Canada through a partnership and supply deal with one of Canada’s top licensed producers, Cronos Group.

“The future is bright for this team and we’re excited to continue to grow with our mission to be the leading global provider of cannabis oil,” Forni said.
