Cannabis clothing gives me a buzz! When I began blogging about the cannabis industry in 2010, pot-inspired fashions were few and far between. But as the legal market grows across the country, I’m ecstatic to see two of my passions intertwined with more original designs and prints featuring our favorite plant.
Here are a few current favorites:
Satori Hemp Socks
$13.95 / cultureskate.com
Pot leaf socks aren’t exactly groundbreaking, but this company is doing more than the usual. Each pair of Satori socks is made from 51% hemp, 38% organic cotton and 11% spandex. The results are soft, comfortable and better for the environment. They offer a few colors, but purple knee highs are the dankest if you ask me.
$65 / kindstems.com
Kindstems are exactly what have been missing from my closet. They select really high resolution macro images of cannabis and print them onto American-made leggings. They’re also thick and have a forgiving waistband, perfect for sitting down for a sesh or going to yoga class.
Alex Grey Higher Vision Shallow Snapback
$50 / grassrootscalifornia.com
Artist Alex Grey’s collaboration with legendary hat maker, Grassroots California, celebrates his mission to “heal the world with cannabis.” Like Grey’s paintings, this hat is trippy AF. Half the magic is on the inside of this snapback; the THC molecule covers the bottom of the brim and the satiny lining makes those colors pop!
Woah Dude Cuffed Shorts
$70 AUD / blackmilkclothing.com
Black Milk Clothing isn’t a cannabis-focused company, but when they do feature the leaf, it’s worth the wait. Made in Australia and shipped worldwide, these cuffed shorts are lined with a light fleece and have two pockets on the front to hold your cell — or your smoke stash.
Bubblegum Kush Weed Print Leggings
$39.99 / mmjco.com
Miss Mary Jane Co’s Bubblegum Kush leggings are sweet and stoney, like everything else on their website. The brand specializes in colorful cannabis gear, from tees to hats to jewelry. But their leggings are a staple in my wardrobe, thanks to the conversation-starting pot leaf prints.
Leaf Lariat Necklace
$55 / bluntedobjects.com
Let your love of cannabis hang near your heart with this gold-plated lariat necklace from Blunted Objects. The delicate design is available in gold or silver and is handmade in Los Angeles. The small pendant leaf is held by a 2-inch chain to a larger leaf and the adjustable closure has a third, hidden pot leaf charm.
Weed & Wisdom Unisex Tank
This tank top from Some Girls Get High has a patterned pot leaf front and center and is just the right thing to wear when you need to make a statement. I like that the colors on this tank aren’t the usual shades of green, instead the cranberry colors of Weed & Wisdom top warms up your outfit.
Sweet Leaf Hoops
$5,000 (for reals!) / jacquieaiche.com
Diamond encrusted pot leaf hoops offer the highest sense of glam. These Sweet Leaf hoops might cost more than 2 pounds of weed, but when you really want to sparkle and shine while supporting Mary Jane, they’re the only way to go. These have pave set diamonds and your choice of 14k yellow, rose, or white gold.
