40 Under 40: Victoria Plummer

Victoria Plummer starts her days with the mantra “be an artist among scientists and scientist among artists.” As a strategic product analyst for Lantern since 2020, she’s excited to continue growing in the industry.

Plummer sees her involvement in cannabis as an opportunity to help destigmatize the plant. As a young Black woman, Plummer has firsthand knowledge of the ways the criminalization of cannabis has affected minority communities across the country. She aims to make her presence in the space a positive one.

“My industry knowledge has been growing exponentially, and to be a part of something that’s doing so well and empowering people through its social equity delivery program is really an amazing experience to be a part of,” Plummer said.

“As a woman of color in the technology space, I also do everything I can to bring laughter and joy to a previously stigmatized industry and love my pursuit in a career path that’s less traditional to women of color.”
