Ankur Rungta is bringing his experience as a corporate lawyer and investment banker to C3
Industries, a vertically integrated MSO founded with his brother Vishal and long-time friend Joel
Ruggiero.

After a short career in law and a period of time in finance, Rungta was able to take the knowledge gained there and apply it to the cannabis business.

C3 Industries is active in four states and has raised more than $100 million into its operations, with a team of 500 and growing. Catering to connoisseurs, C3 Industries focuses on crafting high-quality flower and concentrates. Its flower brand is the award-winning Cloud Cover.

“I cut my teeth as a corporate lawyer and investment banker in New York City. I worked at really prestigious—but also very intense firms. It was all about putting in the time, getting the reps, building a skillset and then using that and making it into something entrepreneurial on our own,” Rungta says.
