If you or someone you know grow cannabis, there’s an opportunity to help a small group of scientists expand the study of cannabis morphology.

Doctors from the Cannabis Genome Research Initiative are asking growers to send in high quality photographs of their fully-matured cannabis leaves with the purpose of examining various genotypes. The organization has created a public database where personal growers, farmers and breeders from around the world have shared the morphological data of their plants.

If you’re in the cultivation industry and are interested in helping, you can contribute a photograph to the research project.
